Our Story

Mr. Miller completed his legal education at the National Law Center, George Washington University in Washington D.C. and then enjoyed a very successful clerkship at the Justice Department, U.S. Attorney's Office.

Mr. Miller was immediately offered an associate position and started his law career in 1988 working with many skilled trial attorneys at one of the largest law firms in the Bay Area.

Mr. Miller’s litigation experience was extremely robust, comprehensive, and educational. In fact, Mr. Miller was able to learn from one of the Bay Area's great attorneys who was awarded the title of Trial Attorney of the Year on several occasions.

This experience taught Mr. Miller valuable litigation skills. However, he sought a more personal practice wherein he could better meet individual client needs without the cumbersome nature that accompanies large firms.

In 1992, Mr. Miller cofounded a much smaller firm with his good friend Bill Weisberg. Mr. Miller’s new firm was quick to handle complex cases, while at the same time providing a much more personal and agile practice. They launched Weisberg & Miller and quickly became a well sought after, high-level civil litigation firm.

After 27 years, Bill Weisberg decided to retire—but the firm has not. In fact, Mr. Miller’s practice has only increased with more clients returning and referring cases to The Law Offices of Craig S. Miller.

Mr. Miller’s commitment to excellence and respect for his clients has not wavered. Our recruited team of ten like-minded litigators and transactional specialists allow us to serve all the needs of our clients.

We practice in state courts, federal courts, have been admitted pro hac vice to courts across the country, and practice in appellate work as well.

We specialize in Civil Litigation with a significant focus on the areas of Business Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, all aspects of Real Estate Litigation, Landlord-Tenant Litigation, Premises Liability, and Personal Injury matters. We also have a thriving Mediation Practice and would be happy to act as a neutral should the need arise.

Our firm has handled hundreds of complex litigation and multi-party matters. The attorneys with The Law Offices of Craig S. Miller have handled and participated in well over one thousand mediations.

We have been asked to participate as panelists in lectures to the members of the Bar and various Expert Witness Organizations. Mr. Miller is a great educator and has often been a guest lecturer at local law schools. No case is too small or too large, but every case is very personal to us.
